Land To See - a Rural Tour.
As a musical and bodily commentary on the countryside, which in these years is drained of visions and possibilities, three female artists seek out new, distant lands. The ensemble interprets the local frustration in an intimate experimental work created around improvisation and challenged by a pandemic
In fjord blue costumes with a look at the dancer's smallest movements, and a scenography consisting of battery-powered LED lamps as well as the beautiful classical instruments, the audience is drawn into a common liberation process that creates a strong and immediate experience that kickstarts thoughts and feelings. The Land To See tour represents a brand new way to get the culture out. A way that creates presence and presence in a completely unique way, and where the carefully selected location will perform as the ensemble's fourth partner.
The tour is created on the basis of a pilot project with a world premiere back in August 2019. Along the way, flutist Johanne, cellist Emily and dancer Antonia seek a common fascination with the unique opportunities the rural areas have to offer. The transition phases of life. The connection to its roots. To be challenged in achieving what you are passionate about. They are all treated in a rigorous and widely open behavior in the midst of the physical reality in which emotions arise.
